What: Chef Alex Lira (The Lot) and cookbook author Mark Andrew Gravel (Kill the Recipe) are back to take over Elliotborough Mini Bar this year for another awesome Charleston Wine + Food Fest Fringe event with duck confit tamales, smoky beans, an a citrusy market pick salad plus live music from The Rusty Hook Ramblers and The Travelin’ Kine!!

About Alex: A Native Virginian, Chef Alex Lira brings his culinary vision to The Lot. After studying at Tom Colicchio’s Craft in New York under Chef Damon Wise, Lira developed a passion for butchering. He moved on to Marlow and Daughters, Brooklyn’s premiere snout to tail butcher shop. After time well spent in New York, Lira was ready to move back down south where he currently enjoys banjo picking, buckhunter, pickling, and smoking (meats).
